From the label“Life Without Music is our meditation on the rustic smoked beers of Germany. This classic Lager pours a deep hazel beneath a robust swell of foam that clings to the glass. Aromas of toffee and toasted biscuit form the foundation while notes of campfire smoke, smoked honey, and a roasted nuttiness drift above the glass. Despite its robust introduction, the beer's classic profile closes with a clean and succinct coda. Goethe described music as "liquid architecture"—the intelligible cathedrals of sound that disappear as quickly as they materialize. The mind seeks patterns, an engine of prediction organizing the world around us. Whether by fate or coincidence, the result is the same: a fluke that transforms sound into music. Few qualities are more innate than our fluency in this universal language. Before we can even speak our own names, we become entranced by rhythm and melody.”
