This is the 8th of 10 filings we hold from Appalachian Mountain Brewery. It is one of 13 porter labels approved in June 2026. It cleared 12 days after it was filed.
A woodcut-style alpine landscape dominates the label, with two snow-capped peaks flanking a central circular emblem containing the brewery's initials and name. The composition layers a gold circular seal at the top, a deep valley with evergreen trees and a golden stream in the foreground, and scattered stars and sparkles throughout. The palette is restricted to black, gold, and cream on a solid black ground, with all imagery rendered in bold linear hatching and high-contrast silhouette typical of relief printmaking.
From the label“Label explicitly states "PORTER" as the style designation beneath the beer name "BLACK GOLD". TTB class 905 PORTER corroborates.”
