From the label

The waves: Kriek is a spontaneously fermented golden ale of bicoastal origins, refermented with sour cherries local to each locale. For this kriek blend, de Garde Brewing of Tillamook, OR provided their spontaneous wild ale aged on Montmorency and Morello cherries, which we blended with an equal volume of our own spontaneously fermented golden ale aged on the same varieties in an inverse proportion. The final blend was aged for one to two years in oak with an extensive fruit maceration before a final refermentation in this bottle with NJ blueberry honey. "Some of us studying... the art of distilling Weird fragrances out of nothing, from the ground up. In each the potential is realized, the two wires Are crossing." -John Ashbery
