From the label“THE BEES OF THE INVISIBLE was brewed in January 2018 with NJ pilsner malted barley and raw wheat, aged whole hops, and, following an extended boil, was periodically dosed in the coolship with NJ blueberry honey throughout the first several hours of the overnight ambient cooling. This honeyed wort fermented spontaneously in neutral French oak barrels and matured for eighteen months before a natural bottle refermentation with blueberry honey from the same NJ apiary. "our task is to impress this preliminary, transient earth upon ourselves with so much suffering and so passionately that its nature rises up again 'invisible' within us. We are the bees of the invisible. We ceaselessly gather the honey of the visible, to store it up in the great golden beehive of the Invisible." -RAINER MARIA RILKE”
