This is the 4th of 4 filings we hold from Castle Danger Brewery. It is one of 54 spiced / pumpkin / honey labels approved in June 2026. It cleared 15 days after it was filed.
A watercolour landscape dominates the front label, depicting a lighthouse and castle structure perched atop rocky cliffs overlooking Lake Superior, rendered in warm ochre, grey, and dusty pink tones. The beer name appears in bold script lettering across the centre of the illustration in maroon and white. At the top left, a circular emblem shows the Castle Danger Brewery logo with a lighthouse, waves, and decorative border in gold, maroon, and cream. The composition balances the expansive landscape illustration with the brewery name in serif type at the top and descriptive text in maroon type at the bottom.
From the label“Inspired by the iconic lighthouse perched along Lake Superior's shoreline, Split Rock Apple Ale is a crisp, spiced ale that captures the essence of a North Shore vibe. Pouring clear and golden, it opens with inviting aromas of fresh green apple, cinnamon and baking spices. Layered with subtle notes of biscuit and toasted bread crust. A gentle sweetness highlights bright apple character, balanced by low bitterness and a smooth malt backbone. Hints of nutmeg and allspice add a complexity, while medium carbonation keeps the beer lively and refreshing. The finish is clean and crisp, with a touch of comforting spice perfectly suited for cooler days.”
