The artwork

A monochromatic landscape dominates the label's center, depicting a rocky shoreline with coniferous trees silhouetted against a cloudy sky and rough water in the foreground. The beer name "Black Beach Dark Lager" is set in bold white script across the middle of the scene, with "czech-style dark lager" in smaller type below. A circular medallion emblem sits in the upper left corner, featuring the Castle Danger Brewery mark with blue water and red decorative elements. The composition uses grayscale photography or illustration with radiating lines suggesting movement across the sand.

From the label

Inspired by the rugged shoreline of Black Beach, this dark lager balances rich, toasted depth with the smooth, clean character of a classic lager. Deep brown in color with ruby-red highlights at the edges, it opens with inviting aromas of light coffee roast, dark dried fruit, and hints of toffee. A gentle malt sweetness is met with balanced bitterness, creating a beer that's both flavorful and remarkably drinkable. The finish is smooth, crisp, and clean like a cool Lake Superior breeze at dusk.
