From the label

Dia de los Muertos within the Mexican community is a solemn, yet colorful and fun occasion to remember our fallen ancestors. Growing up, my family would build bright altars, adorned with flowers, sacred Catholic statutes, and pictures of our dead relatives. We would commemorate our ancestors, tias, and parientes by preparing their favorite food dishes, or bebidas, and placing those items on the alter. We would toast to their life. Café Mexicano and Chocolatito was a favorite beverage during Dia de Los Muertos. Our special craft cerveza, brewed with coffee, chocolate, cinnamon, honors all the souls who have gone to heaven and care and pray for us. Founder/brewer: Javier Chávez, Jr.
