From the label“Three Ring Circus is a traditional English-style Barleywine that spent most of its time aging in the oak barrels we age our Thomas Tew Rum in. Five malts, including Best Red X, add ample amounts of toffee and caramel flavors to this ale. Moderate amounts of East Kent Golding and Fuggle hops provide an underlying balance. The final touch is added by the barrel which provides hints of vanilla, oak, and earth.”
