About this beer
This is the 16th of 25 labels we have from pFriem Family Brewers. It is one of 10 barleywine / strong ale labels approved in July 2026. Its label was approved 8 days after it was submitted. The label carries barrel-aged, fruited on the front.
A centered circular emblem in gold dominates the label, enclosing a sunburst pattern with a central monogram and the text "HOOD RIVER" at its apex. "PFRIEM UNION OREGON LOCAL 541" circles the outer edge of the medallion in all capitals. The label is printed in gold on a dark brown-black ground, with a thin horizontal line dividing the emblem from the brewery name and beer style text below.
From the label“After aging for 17 months in bourbon barrels, this robust barleywine ale is infused with orange, vanilla, and maple syrup. Impossibly complex with smokey notes of candied orange, toffee, and woodspice.”
