This is the 1st of 22 filings we hold from Georgetown Brewing Company. It is one of 6 barleywine / strong ale labels approved in January 2019. It cleared 49 days after it was filed. The label names 3 hops — Northern Brewer, Sterling and Fuggle, and carries barrel-aged on the front.
From the label“Brewed in the English style tradition, this beer was brewed with a generous helping of rich molasses and aged in oak barrels for 12 months. Light in body with a subdued bitterness, time spent in barrels tamed this malt-forward ale into a wonderfully smooth beer with generous aromas of caramel, honey, and vanilla.”
