This is the 3rd of 5 label filings we hold from Munkle Brewing Co. It is one of 19 stout (other/unspecified) labels approved in August 2026. It cleared 8 days after it was filed. The label carries the Brewers Association independent seal.
A pair of hot-pink loafers sits centered on a receding boardwalk rendered in linear perspective, set beneath a silhouetted amusement pier and Ferris wheel. The composition occupies the full front in a split-field layout—magenta lettering and shoes dominate the lower half against the purple ground, while architectural details and a decorative header recede above. The label employs a limited palette of magenta, purple, and cream, with the beer name in outlined sans-serif capitals and supporting text in smaller sans-serif type, all reversed or set against solid fields. A matte finish with visible pressure creases is evident across the surface.
From the label“Our uncle, Robert Franklin "Bob" Donehue, was one of the original greats of the popular coastal dance known as the Shag in the late '40s and early '50's. He was known to tear up the dance floor of the original Folly Pier. His calling card was a pair of loafers spray painted silver to highlight his incredible footwork. This stout is an homage to him, and to the rich history of Folly Island.”
