This is the 1st of 4 filings we hold from Munkle Brewing Co. It is one of 4 tripel labels approved in June 2026. It cleared 3 days after it was filed. The label carries the Brewers Association independent seal.
A two-story Charleston townhouse with a pitched roof dominates the center of the label, rendered in fine-line pen-and-ink style against a soft green background with darker green foliage silhouettes on either side. The house sits above the beer name in bold sans-serif caps; flanking the central image are geometric window designs—overlapping triangles in green and teal with white dividing lines, creating a stained-glass or quilted-panel effect. A narrow green stripe runs along the top and bottom edges of the label, with tagline text centered above.
From the label“3RD FLOOR TRIPEL The third floor of most Charleston single houses is characterized by sloping ceilings, few if any decorative accents, & inefficient heating & air. For these reasons, the third floor is often the children's floor & certainly at 66 Bull St., adults rarely climbed the four flights of stairs required to reach us. However, plenty of friends did ascend into the elements to spend some quality time out of mind. This is where we forged the friendships that are the foundations of Munkle Brewing Co. This beer is a nod to those wilder, younger, more carefree days.”
