From the label“Biere de Garde is a farmhouse Ale traditionally buried for aging. A malt backbone provides body and toasty Maillard character, while its restrained European hop bill adds soft herbal complexity. Saison yeast develops delicate fruitiness before the beer is aged in both red wine and port barrels. At last, it emerges from the shadows, armed with dark fruit notes.”

A woodcut-style illustration dominates the center, depicting a bearded man's face emerging from a dense forest of stylized trees and foliage, rendered in gold on a dark navy ground.
