“Vista's house saison provides the perfect base for showcasing a range of fruit flavors and this is our first-ever blackberry release! Our classic farmhouse recipe uses both saison yeast and Brettanomyces Bruxellensis, delivering clove, spice and mild farmhouse funk. We aged this base with blackberries in freshly emptied mourvedre and sangiovese barrels from Hye, Texas. The time in barrel builds complexity and balance, creating a delicious, refreshing, and tart brew. Pours a soft purple-pink with aromas of berry and subtle funk. On first sip tastes like summer fruit, with a refreshing light body, leading to tart lemon and a dry finish. Pairing: Pair with a juicy grilled pork chop, fresh goat cheese or a Black Forest cake.”
