This is the 8th of 10 filings we hold from Appalachian Mountain Brewery. It is one of 189 ipa (other/unspecified) labels approved in June 2026. It cleared 12 days after it was filed.
A split-field composition divides the label between red (left) and blue (right) zones, each containing the same scene: a cardinal perched on a branch overlooks a silhouetted Appalachian landscape with evergreen trees and mountains, white clouds drifting across the sky above. The brewery's circular seal dominates the upper portion in white on the blue field, while the beer name—'LONG LEAF' in white capitals and 'IPA' in gold—spans the lower half across both zones. Regulatory and marketing text runs vertically along the left edge in white type against red.
From the label“North Carolina's IPA, embodying the citrus piney aroma and resinous character from bold hopping inspired by the Carolina's State Toast: Here's to the land of the Long Leaf Pine, the summer land where the sun doth shine, where the weak grow strong and the strong grow great, here's to "Down Home," the Old North State!”
