This filing went on record 16 October 2019, before the beer reached a shelf. Check Friday's register for this house. The docket is a second, optional dispatch.
It is the only label filing we hold from Rapp's Barren Brewing Company. It is one of 152 barrel-aged stout labels approved in October 2019. It cleared 30 days after it was filed. The label carries barrel-aged, imperial on the front. The label carries the Brewers Association independent seal.
From the label“We are very proud of this second anniversary imperial stout! This oak aged beer is jet black with a caramel colored head that coats the glass with each sip. The aroma has notes of bourbon and vanilla, lending way to a complex flavor profile with hints of coffee, chocolate, raisins, and bourbon that marry perfectly with heavily roasted malts. Balanced by a pleasant warmth and just enough sweetness, the extended aging period in American oak barrels, allow the bold flavors to mellow and blend into something that is truly special.”
