This is the 6th of 12 labels we have from Fyne Ales. It is one of 107 fruited sour labels approved in February 2019. Its label was approved 34 days after it was submitted. The label names one hop, Styrian Goldings, and carries barrel-aged on the front. It's imported by SHELTON BROTHERS INC; its label was approved for US sale.
From the label“Sour ale with blackcurrants aged in red wine barrels. Wheat-based sour ale conditioned on juicy Scottish blackcurrants and finished in second-fill red wine barrels. Initial tart berry flavours lead into sweet and earthy blackcurrant with subtle oak and funky complexity underneath.”
