This is the 1st of 4 labels we have from Cascade Brewing. Its label was approved 7 days after it was submitted. The label carries barrel-aged on the front.
From the label“Celebrating the Northwest's regional offerings of craft beer and wine, Valley Flora combines our sour red ale with Willamette Valley-grown Pinot Noir grapes using traditional brewing and winemaking techniques. Through native fruit fermentation and extended oak maturation, Valley Flora expresses notes of dark bramble fruit, plum, cherry, earth and oak supported by a balanced tannic structure and lively acidity. Our distinctive barrel-aged sour ales offer a complex array of flavors derived from Northwest grown ingredients. A pioneer in the sour beer renaissance since 2006 and the proud innovator of the Northwest Sour Ale, we are, by nature, the definition of artisanal brewing: we're not bound by stylistic guidelines, just our own imagination and the ingredients we can access.”
