From the label

“WE DON'T PRETEND TO UNDERSTAND HOW THE NINJAS WORK. They move in silence, are patient to no end, and when they finally make their move, it's the end for whatever they're coming for. Our good boy Shoku is most certainly a ninja. A member of an incredibly rare breed of Japanese hunting dogs- Kai Ken, our little mister is black as night, fast as lightning, and as sweet as could be... unless, of course, you're his target. We brewed up this black lager in his honor, with all German malt, hops, yeast, and that ninja patience. And when the time was right, when the iron was hot... WE LET SHOKU STRIKE. L'CHAIM. SALUD. CHEERS! FROM YOUR FRIENDS, CHANTEL, TAMIR, & AYANA Proudly brewed and Packaged IN THE HISTORIC BAKER NEIGHBORHOOD at 305 Wrist avenue, Denver, CO”
