Brewed with chocolate and caramel malts, the base beer offers aromas of cocoa powder, fudge, and milk chocolate. Complex roasted malts often carry subtle notes of dark fruit, and in this rendition, those characteristics are brought vividly to the forefront. The addition of plum purée lends notes of plum galette, floral orchard fruit, and ripe dark fruit juiciness.
