Where this comes from
Read from the label art by Hop Grail. Fields checked against the approved label. How we get this data
From the label“Curiosity 161 pours a glowing orange hue with a cloud of sticky foam rising above the rim. Our friends at Yakima Chief Hops sent us an experimental variety, HBC 1183, which we blended with a base of hand-selected hops. A vigorous pour unlocks potent aromas of pineapple syrup, candied Meyer lemon peel, and tangerine zest, all fading into a soft, creamy finish with notes of citrus zest. By all accounts, the treasure is close; the bones along the route are still gripping their shovels and pickaxes. At first I climbed the mesa, following some zigzag path that led to the top, but I found no trail or landmark. The cactus guards its precious weight, and the clouds turn to steam beneath the sun. The way back is farther than the guesswork ahead, so onward we trek toward whatever fortune waits beyond the next rise.”

The label names its hops — Yakima Chief Hops, HBC 1183 — which is enough for a real starting point.
