The label is divided horizontally into two fields: an upper cream section featuring the Firestone brewery crest—two rearing horses flanking a shield, rendered in engraved line-work—beneath an arched banner reading "FIRESTONE" in large serifs, with "A CALIFORNIA BEER COMPANY" inscribed on a banner above and "HIGHEST" and "QUALITY" curved along the sides. The lower charcoal-grey field contains the beer name "DOUBLE JACK" in tall, shadowed serif capitals with gold accents, beneath which "DOUBLE IPA" and "FIRESTONE WALKER BREWING COMPANY" are set in smaller type.
