The artwork

A symmetrical heraldic emblem dominates the upper label field: a rampant dragon or winged beast in black ink appears on each side of the brewery name, flanking a small black star, all set against dark charcoal ground. Below runs a horizontal band of cream or pale gold. The main label features an ornate cartouche with double-lined borders in gold, enclosing the beer name in serif caps and production details in small type on a dark ground. The overall composition is highly formal and symmetrical, printed in black, cream, and gold on a dark label stock.
