This is the 4th of 12 filings we hold from Twelve Days of Beer. It is one of 27 dark lager / dunkel labels approved in July 2026. It cleared 1 day after it was filed.
A cream-coloured engraving of the Frauenkirche dome dominates the left panel, set within a red shield against a detailed street map of Dresden in dark charcoal. The beer name appears in ornate blackletter caps below the dome, with a decorative flourish separating it from the German style designation. The right panel carries narrative text in serif type on black, flanked by a red circular seal at top and a bottle emblem at bottom, both rendered in gold outline. The label is finished with gold foil accents throughout the border and ornamental elements.
From the label“Rising above the skyline of Dresden, the iconic Frauenkirche stands as a symbol of resilience and renewal, carefully rebuilt after its destruction in World War II. Inspired by its enduring spirit, this Schwarzbier pours deep and dark with smooth roasted malt, subtle cocoa notes, and a crisp, balanced finish. Bold yet refined, it is crafted to be savored, a tribute to history, strength, and timeless character.”
