The composition is rendered in pen-and-ink line work with hand-applied watercolour washes in red, black, grey, and cream. White hand-lettered dialogue curves above the reaper's head: "Will You REMEMBER MY REPLY WHEN YOUR HIGH HORSE DIES?" The beer name appears in tall, condensed sans-serif caps along the left edge.
