A luminous winged figure — part angel, part phoenix — dominates the centre of the label in a full-bleed illustration rendered in cream and gold against a dark brown ground. The figure radiates outward with flowing, feathered forms caught in an ethereal glow. From the label“Illuminate is an American Wheatwine Ale that pours a pale chestnut hue into the glass. A complex grain bill brings forth notes of caramel-drizzled pound cake, honey-soaked figs, and freshly baked blondies. Its richness is tempered by a subtle blend of Amarillo, Nugget, and Cascade hops; they offer aromas of citrus and pine. This balanced sipper's flavor evolves as it warms in the glass and will age gracefully if stowed away in your cellar. Acclimate yourself to wings and other sweet defiances. Once through the doors, dissolve; now reappear. Look how you fold, struck by this intricacy of light, the prismatic interpretations of your mind. All that you see is tenfold reflection.
