This is the 2nd of 3 filings we hold from Urban Artifact. It is one of 31 fruited lager labels approved in June 2026. It cleared 1 day after it was filed.
A densely packed desert landscape fills the entire front, rendered in pen-and-ink with bright hand-applied colour, depicting cacti, shrubs, scattered rocks, and stylized animals (a lizard, a snake, and what appears to be a rabbit or hare) across sandy ground under a peach-pink sky with white clouds. The beer name "MISSING LINK" appears in large outlined lettering across the upper right in magenta, with "PRICKLY PEAR" and "MEXICAN STYLE LAGER" set smaller below. The image is printed with visible halftone dot texture throughout, giving it a comic-book or screenprint quality, dominated by hot pink, lime green, ochre, and cream tones.
From the label“Label explicitly states 'PRICKLY PEAR MEXICAN-STYLE LAGER' on front. Back label confirms 'LAGER BREWED WITH FRUIT' and notes '4.9 ALC/VOL'. TTB class 906 (Malt Beverage Specialties - Flavored) aligns with a fruit-forward lager. The prickly pear fruit addition to a Mexican-style lager base justifies fruited_lager classification.”
