On your grail list. We'll tell you when it lands.This is the 5th of 12 filings we hold from Masthead Brewing Co. It is one of 64 barrel-aged stout labels approved in June 2026. It cleared 22 days after it was filed. The label carries barrel-aged, imperial on the front. The label carries the Brewers Association independent seal.
A circular emblem dominates the centre of the label, rendered in black outline with a double gold and black ring border, containing the brewery's logo—a stylized Cleveland bridge with 'MASTHEAD CLEVELAND BREWING CO.' lettering arranged around the circumference. The background is split between a pale textured field above and solid black below, with the beer name 'COFFEE UNDERVERSE' set in heavy sans-serif capitals, accompanied by a gold rectangular banner reading 'BOURBON BARREL AGED' and supporting type in white. A gold rectangular header at the top right displays the beer name again with style and ABV information.
From the label“SOMEWHERE IN THE BLACKNESS OF SPACE THERE LIES ANOTHER VERSE... THE UNDERVERSE. Upon crossing this threshold, one returns changed. Some call it enlightenment, while others call it Nirvana. Our Bourbon Barrel Aged Imperial Coffee Stout has returned from this journey transformed. During its time in bourbon barrels it mingled with local espresso roast coffee beans from Six Shooter Coffee, imbuing it with a depth of flavor and complexity not attainable on its own.”
