From the label

Altstadt Oktoberfest is a Marzen style lager with a beautiful light copper color. Mild hops complement the rich combination of Pilsner, Vienna and Munich malts. This is a traditional German Oktoberfest beer that's clean and smooth with a slight caramel sweetness and a complex malty finish … and brewed a lot closer to home! At Altstadt we brew authentic German style beers in the heart of the Texas Hill Country. These traditional beers are handcrafted to old world standards inspired by the Reinheitsgebot (German Beer Purity Law established in 1516). We use only 100% natural imported ingredients and pure Texas spring water to deliver the supreme drinkability and smooth, crisp flavor you expect from German-style beers … only brewed right here in Fredericksburg, Texas. Born in Fredericksburg, Texas Immersed in German History. Made with only pure Texas Hill Country water and German hops, malts & yeast.
