From the label“ALTSTADT ALT DÜSSELDORF-STYLE BEER, MADE IN TEXAS Rich and malty, brewed with Pilsner, Munich & Crystal malts that create its deep amber color. Using authentic Altbier yeast imported from Germany, Alt provides subtle toffee notes on the nose and finishes smooth. ALTSTADT BREWERY At Altstadt we brew authentic German style beers in the heart of the Texas Hill Country. These traditional beers are handcrafted to old world standards inspired by the Reinheitsgebot (German Beer Purity Law established in 1516). We use only 100% natural imported ingredients and pure Texas spring water to deliver the supreme drinkability and smooth, crisp flavor you expect from German-style beers … only brewed right here in Fredericksburg, Texas.
