It is the only label filing we hold from Proper Brewing Co. It is one of 48 imperial stout labels approved in October 2019. It cleared 16 days after it was filed. The label carries the Brewers Association independent seal.
From the label“"Sláinte" (pronounced sláht-cha) is the traditional Gaelic toast meaning "to your health!" Marie Otter pale malt, flaked barley, caramel and roasted malts, and English hops are fermented clean with an ale yeast from London for a dry, full-bodied result. The flavor is heavy roast with themes of coffee and dark chocolate. Warming releases notes of raisin and black currant. A hint of lasting brown sugar and char linger on the tongue. Raise a glass to you and yours - Sláinte!”
