From the label“THIS BEER IS ALIVE BETELGEUSE IS A WILD BARREL-AGED SOUR RED ALE DRAWN FROM SELECT BARRELS OF OUR AGING LIBRARY WITH NOTES OF RICH FRUIT, CHERRIES, A SLIGHT OAK SPICE AND CHOCOLATEY SWEETNESS. POURING CRIMSON WITH FLASHES OF COPPER, ORANGE, AND A SLIGHT HAZE, THIS HOUSE IS BALANCED ON THE PALATE WITH A PLEASANT ACIDITY AND A COMPLEX DEPTH OF CHARACTER.”
