From the label“Six years ago, Barrelworks was started with three prototypes and 48 oak barrels filled with dreams. As each year progressed, it became evident that there were special barrels that stood apart from the rest, exhibiting refined Belgian Lambic-style characteristics. It is these unique barrels that are blended together to create Feral One. This year's blend is suggestive of spicy oak aromatics and red grape pomace notes in the nose. Bright citrusy zest and underlying toasted marshmallow flavors lurk in the background. A mouth-watering acidity and soft tannins are punctuated by a firm carbonation. Savor now, or age longer for a special occasion. Santé!”
