More IPAAbout this beer
This is the 84th of 84 labels we have from Confluence Brewing Company. It is one of 150 double / imperial ipa labels approved in October 2026. Its label was approved 1 day after it was submitted. The label names 3 hops — Citra, El Dorado and Simcoe, and carries barrel-aged, fruited, dry-hopped on the front. The label carries the Brewers Association independent seal.
From the label“An IPA is hardly the usual suspect for barrel aging, but familiar roads lead to familiar experiences. In search of the new and exciting, we racked a Double IPA packed with Citra, El Dorado, and Simcoe hops onto a pile of mangoes into barrels that previously held rye whiskey. When the beer emerged, it was transformed—sweet, tropical notes from the mangoes marry flavors of baking spices, caramel, and vanilla imparted by the barrels. One last dry hop once the beer is out of the barrels helps to brighten it up, amplifying the fruity aromas. One thing is for sure: it's unlike any other barrel aged beer you'll find, and we're pretty sure you're going to love it! This series employs a variety of cooperage to elevate the spirit of our beer, proving that good things come together, for those who wait.”

The label names its hops (Citra, El Dorado, Simcoe), which is enough for a real starting point.
