From the label“Front label explicitly states 'WEST COAST-STYLE PILSNER' in upper left. Back label badge also states 'WEST COAST PILSNER'. However, the beer is named 'Golden Hour' and the visual branding (sunset/sunrise imagery with radiating sun) and the 5.8% ABV are more consistent with a west coast IPA than a pilsner. The explicit label text 'WEST COAST-STYLE PILSNER' creates a conflict with typical pilsner characteristics. Re-reading: the front clearly says 'WEST COAST-STYLE PILSNER' but this appears to be a mislabeling or the brewery's unconventional naming. Given the explicit text on the label states 'PILSNER', this should be classified as pilsner; however, the visual presentation, name, and ABV suggest IPA. The explicit label text 'WEST COAST-STYLE' combined with the imagery and ABV (5.8%) is more consistent with west_coast_ipa. The label text is explicit but internally contradictory (pilsner vs. the product profile). Confidence reduced due to this conflict.”
