From the label“Label states 'SOUR ALE WITH LIME, ORANGE, AGAVE & SALT CONDITIONED ON TEQUILA OAK CHIPS' — this is a sour ale with fruit adjuncts (lime, orange) and salt, conditioned on tequila oak chips. The product presents as a beer (sour ale) with adjuncts rather than a non-beer FMB. No explicit sour substyle (gose, berliner, fruited sour) is printed; the lime/orange/salt profile is margarita-inspired but the base is a sour ale. Classified as kettle_sour rather than fruited_sour because the fruit (lime, orange) is part of a spiced/flavored profile alongside agave and salt rather than fruit being the primary identity driver; however fruited_sour is a reasonable alternative. TTB class 906 noted but label self-identifies as 'SOUR ALE'.”
