From the label“Millstadt's Tin Man Water Tower, one of only seven such towers remaining in the state of Illinois, has been keeping watch over Millstadt since 1931. From 1925-1931, Millstadt was embroiled in a battle over the construction of a municipal sewer system. After two cases were heard by the Illinois Supreme Court, construction began in the summer of 1931, with the Water Tower being completed on December 10th. While no longer being part of the water supply system, the restored Tin Man is Millstadt's most visible landmark. Cheers to Millstadt!”

About this beer
This is the 3rd of 8 labels we have from Millpond Brewing. It is one of 92 pilsner labels approved in August 2026. It was submitted and approved the same day. The label carries the Brewers Association independent seal.
A tall water tower dominates the central emblem, rendered in blue line-work and set within an ornate black cartouche with scrolled side panels and banner ribbons. The tower illustration sits above a horizontal nameplate reading "The Stadt" in gothic serif lettering, with "American Pilsner" underneath and "Millpond Brewing" anchored in a smaller shield at the base. The entire composition occupies the centre of a cream field with a faint cross-hatched background; the left margin carries narrative text about Millstadt's Tin Man Water Tower in small serif type. The label is framed by a thin printed border.
