This is the 1st of 2 labels we have from Captain Zig. It is one of 150 hazy ipa labels approved in August 2026. Its label was approved 3 days after it was submitted. The brand on the label is Captain Zig; it was brewed at East Rock Brewing Company, EAST ROCK BREWING COMPANY LLC in Connecticut. The label carries the Brewers Association independent seal.
The label is divided into two halves: the left side features a silhouetted figure in a superhero cape against a starfield, with the text "Captain Zig" in white and magenta outline lettering; the right side shows a line-drawn goose with a pink feathered wing above a cartoonish layer cake shedding pink crumbs, with "GOOSECAKE" rendered in chunky multicoloured comic lettering below. The overall palette is dark slate blue, bright magenta, cream, and accents of yellow and red, with type in a mix of sans-serif caps and hand-lettered styles. The finish appears to be matte.
