About this beer
This is the 14th of 20 labels we have from Bissell Brothers Brewing Company. It is one of 10 barleywine / strong ale labels approved in July 2026. Its label was approved 1 day after it was submitted. The label carries barrel-aged on the front.
A large geometric skull in bright blue occupies the center of the label, composed of overlapping rounded shapes forming eye sockets, nasal cavity, and jaw. Behind it stands a vertical striped field in black, oxblood, orange, cream, and tan. The beer name appears in large golden sans-serif type reading "BETWIXT & BETWEEN" below the skull, with the ampersand echoing the skull's blue colour. The composition is split vertically, with regulatory text running down both side edges in white type on the dark ground.
