A pen-and-ink illustration of wheat or barley sheaves fills the centre of the label in golden tones, rendered with flowing, gestural linework that radiates outward from the botanicals. The beer name "Old Traditional" is hand-lettered in a cursive script that overlays the illustration, with "Helles Lager" and location set in a serif typeface below. The label is cream-coloured with gold and black inks, and the composition is vertically centred with ornamental flourishes around the wheat stems.
From the label“It all starts with what you know. This traditional German-style lager is made with the passion for good, clean, lager fermented beer. The same quality beer the German immigrants to Belleville strived to make. Brewed with a simple mix of soft water, malt, and hops. Grain: Pilsen, Carapils Hops: Magnum, Tradition”
