About this beer
This is the 1st of 3 labels we have from St. Bernardus. It is one of 10 quad / belgian strong labels approved in July 2026. Its label was approved 3 days after it was submitted. It's imported by BEV Imports, D&V International, Inc; its label was approved for US sale.
A geometric grid composition in the style of Mondrian fills the upper half of the label, composed of rectangles of primary colours—blue, red, and yellow—separated by thick black lines on a white ground. The grid is framed by a thin white border. Below, the label text "80 YEARS OF HERITAGE" and "ST. BERNARDUS ABT 12 – MAGNUM EDITION – 2026" appear in sans-serif capitals on the burgundy background.
From the label“St.Bernardus Abt 12 is brewed in the classic quadrupel style and adheres to the original 1946 recipe. It's a dark beer of top fermentation with a robust head that is ivory in color. It has a very fruity aroma that is the result of using our own unique yeast. It brims over with different, complex tastes and stands out through its long, bittersweet finish. Since 2012 we have yearly produced a limited number of Magnum bottles. Each edition of the labels on these bottles have been designed by an artist and all the artworks are kept in the brewery's art collection.”
