This filing went on record 10 July 2026, before the beer reached a shelf. Every week's new filings, read and delivered Tuesday morning.
This is the 6th of 15 label filings we hold from Dogfish Head Craft Brewery. It is one of 88 american pale ale labels approved in July 2026. It was filed and approved the same day. The label carries the Brewers Association independent seal.
From the label“Label explicitly states 'INDIA PALE ALE' on front. However, the beer is a keg product (5.17 gallons = 19,532 ml) with 7.5% ABV, which is consistent with an American Pale Ale rather than a full IPA. The explicit label designation 'INDIA PALE ALE' would normally drive classification to ipa_other, but the moderate ABV and the collaborative nature with The Boston Beer Company (noted in fine print) suggests this is positioned as a pale ale. The back label confirms 'BREWED BY: DOGFISH HEAD CRAFT BREWERY' with production in Milton, DE and Cincinnati, OH in collaboration with The Boston Beer Company. The Brewers Association Certified Independent Craft seal is visible on the back label.”
