“Label explicitly states 'INDIA PALE ALE' on front. However, the beer is a keg product (5.17 gallons = 19,532 ml) with 7.5% ABV, which is consistent with an American Pale Ale rather than a full IPA. The explicit label designation 'INDIA PALE ALE' would normally drive classification to ipa_other, but the moderate ABV and the collaborative nature with The Boston Beer Company (noted in fine print) suggests this is positioned as a pale ale. The back label confirms 'BREWED BY: DOGFISH HEAD CRAFT BREWERY' with production in Milton, DE and Cincinnati, OH in collaboration with The Boston Beer Company. The Brewers Association Certified Independent Craft seal is visible on the back label.”
