About this beer
This is the 2nd of 27 labels we have from Dogfish Head. It is one of 52 barrel-aged stout labels approved in December 2019. Its label was approved 12 days after it was submitted. The label carries barrel-aged on the front.
From the label“This collaboration was brewed with a blend of locally grown and malted Violet barley, and the ancient grains Finkorn and Spelt. It was open-fermented with mixed yeast and bacterial cultures from The Veil and Dogfish Head, then transferred to French Oak Chardonnay barrels. After 18 months of aging, we refermented it on extravagant quantities of Hibiscus and Red, White & Black Currants to create an intense, ruddy drinking experience.”
