It cleared 6 days after it was filed. The label names 3 hops — Citra, Strata and Krush Cryo, and carries dry-hopped on the front. The label carries the Brewers Association independent seal.
A circular emblem centred on the label contains a stylized wrench and gear in black outline, encircled by a blue double ring with the brewery name "MASTHEAD BREWING CO." and "CLEVELAND" integrated into the design. The field behind is cream, scattered with bright yellow five-pointed stars of varying sizes. The beer name appears twice — once in burgundy caps above the emblem and once in blue caps below — with style and collaborator information set in a mix of sans-serif and script typefaces across the right side.
From the label“This West Coast Style IPA is traveling and does not require a Driver License. Sovereign Citizen prefers pre 1933 Gold Eagles to any other form of currency and is hopped with Citra, Strata and Krush Cryo for notes of fruit salad, citrus and papaya. Expect a dry finish with just the right amount of bitterness that does not respect your authority.”
