This is the 34th of 54 filings we hold from Tree House Brewing Company. It is one of 189 ipa (other/unspecified) labels approved in June 2026. It cleared 1 day after it was filed. The label names 3 hops — Citra, Amarillo and Lotus.
A Komodo dragon rendered in engraved cross-hatching dominates the label, angled diagonally across the cream field in warm ochre and rust tones with black outlines. The creature's scaled body and clawed limbs occupy the central two-thirds of the front, set against a faint watercolour wash of tan and gold that suggests a tropical landscape. The beer name appears in heavy slab-serif caps overlaid directly on the dragon's body, while a smaller secondary dragon emblem in solid black sits at the top left. Type is set flush-right in a serif body font.
From the label“Komodo is a Rice IPA, pouring a straw-yellow color with a flash of sticky foam. The addition of rice in this hoppy format allows for a rare intersection of attributes: just enough malt presence to balance a robust hopping regimen, while lending a clean and crisp profile that boosts its aromatic qualities. Citra, Amarillo, and Lotus fill the air with notes of tangerine juice, floral peach, sweet grape, and citrus-zested vanilla cream. Still upon the warming rocks, a myth seems to have come to life. More like the knight that would have slain such a beast, its suit of armor glimmers in the island sun. Battleworn, this rugged shell is earned through tribulation, so that by the end of its journey it has more in common with the stone on which it sits than the young lizards on the prowl. Some forgotten chapter seems to have spawned a fearsome soldier: the mighty Komodo is king in tooth and claw.”
