A snow-capped volcanic mountain dominates the label, photographed in daylight with a solitary hiker in turquoise jacket on the rocky slope, set against a deep blue sky. The composition divides between a full-bleed landscape photograph on the left two-thirds and a dark navy panel on the right containing white sans-serif type and marketing copy. The mountain image is rendered in natural photographic tones — browns, whites, greys, and bright blue — while the type panel uses cream and white lettering. A small emblem appears at the top of the photograph.
From the label“Pure Oregon is a Double IPA that pours a glowing light orange color into the glass. It leads with notes of grapefruit gummies, mango smoothies, and orange popsicles from a special lot of hops that underwent a variety of novel post-harvest processes. Following behind are notes of blueberry jam, red currant, and an earthy dankness from hand-selected lots of Mosaic and Strata. Oregon is almost undefinable, holding varied landscapes that seem to have no business existing together. Mountains that once roiled and spewed molten rivers are quieter these days, snowcapped and windworn. The sea crashes against walls of green on the coast, with spruce and hemlock sentinels behind the cliffs. Below all this, the air is sapped of its weight and the earth cracks in the desert sun. It is all here for the adventurous soul. It's Pure Oregon.”
