The brand on the label is Batson River Brewing & Distilling; it was brewed at Peak Organic Brewing Company, LLC in Maine. The label carries the Brewers Association independent seal.
Three loons rendered in pen-and-ink occupy the upper two-thirds of the label, their bodies rendered in cross-hatching and fine line work as they float on water suggested by horizontal strokes. The composition is centered, with a large loon in the foreground anchoring the lower portion and two smaller birds receding above. The beer name LOON CALL appears in large serif capitals beneath the birds, with PILSNER and technical details in smaller type at the bottom, while a silhouette of Maine and a recycling symbol sit in the upper left.
