This filing went on record 19 December 2019, before the beer reached a shelf. Every week's new filings, read and delivered Tuesday morning.
This is the 5th of 14 label filings we hold from Jackie O's Pub & Brewery. It is one of 5 kettle sour (other) labels approved in December 2019. It cleared 16 days after it was filed. The label carries barrel-aged on the front.
From the label“Reaching new heights of honey character, this special batch of Hive Five Reserve was brewed, fermented, and bottle conditioned with one of our favorite local delicacies. We started by brewing our oat saison with vibrant orange blossom honey in the kettle, then it was laid to rest in oak barrels for 25 months where it fermented on loads of local wildflower honey. To naturally carbonate this alluring beer, we primed each bottle with even more wildflower honey. We hope you enjoy the smooth depth and decadent complexity of this boundary-pushing offering from the Brewpub.”
