From the label“Take a sip back in time with the Ales of Antiquity, a series from our resident beer archaeologist Travis Rupp. When not a professor at our hometown university, Travis combines his passion for brewing and ancient history by recreating beers of yore, based on archaeological evidence. Inspired by the favorite drink of our 1st President, this is an English-style Porter brewed with American ingredients and fermented in fresh oak barrels.”
