This is the 2nd of 2 labels we have from Westmalle. It is one of 2 dubbel labels approved in February 2019. Its label was approved 49 days after it was submitted. It's imported by MERCHANT DU VIN CORPORATION; its label was approved for US sale.
From the label“Dark reddish Dubbel brewed in a Trappist abbey under the monks' supervision. Brewery income is used to maintain the Abbey, and profits are donated to charity. Westmalle is bottle-conditioned and contains live yeast. Store upright; serve between 45 and 50°F. Pour carefully, leaving the yeast behind in the bottle – taste it separately if you like.”
